Day 1     Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Arrive in Nairobi

Drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy 
Transfer by road to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (3 hours)

Camp Orientation
Meet your facilitator and attend the briefing about your stay at the Camp
Students participate in immersive conservation itineraries, aimed at engaging volunteers in the day to day running of the conservancy

Day 2     Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Swahili language session
Immersive in a linguistic experience in the native ‘Swahili’ language, during a language class with the locals

Bicycle Tour of the Community
Cycle to the rural communities at the banks of the Rongai river. Learn about local production at a Kenyan farm

Traditional Bush Craft
Learn survival skills in a traditional bush craft session with Maasai warriors. Learning how to use a spear, make fire and engage in cultural activities

Day 3     Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Community Service Project Selection
Work on a project creating long-term or short-term impact on the life of the residents. Projects can range from building projects, teaching English or sports, to planting trees in grounds, resulting in an enhancement to the quality of life of the locals

Immerse yourself in community service project activity based on your chosen theme

Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Learn about Chimpanzee habitats, the threats they face and the challenges of maintaining a healthy population

Attend an expert-led session on wildlife capture and translocation, saving endangered species, understanding the plight of the Black and Northern white Rhino species

Day 7     Ol Pajeta Conservancy – Ngare Ndare Forest – Ol Pajeta Conservancy

Get a taste of the real outdoors at the Ngare Ndare forest. Venture into thrill while participating in activities of rock climbing, swimming in canyon pools and waterfalls

Drive to Nairobi
Transfer to Nairobi on a private coach (3 hours)
